« Or j’ai joué.

The question of politics runs through the whole of Jean Genet’s work, in which he assumes the marginal position assigned to him by society. A position that he has preserved by working on his solitude, as a way of thwarting any social, but above all political, compromise. And sog so the major component of his work is the articulation – still to be invented – between the political and the poetic, where revolt, play and love occupy a privileged position.
