Notre étude envisage la paratextualité comme un élément fondamental de la poétique cioranienne construite autour d’une dualité constante entre un véritable exercice d’admiration et un inconvénient manifeste, voire une dénégation à l’égard de son œuvre. Après une première partie dans laquelle nous identifierons les principaux types de paratextes dans les écrits de Cioran, nous allons mettre en évidence, dans la deuxième partie, la valeur fortement créatrice de certains paratextes (titres, sous-titres et épigraphes) qui fonctionnent au niveau de l’écriture en tant que matériaux en germination. Nous insisterons à ce niveau sur le rapport entre la paratextualité et l’intertextualité réunies sous le signe du faire littéraire. La troisième partie concerne le statut des paratextes en tant qu'opérateurs d’identité : identité de l’œuvre et de l’écrivain à la fois. Our study considers the paratextuality as a fundamental element of Cioran's poetics built around a constant duality between a true exercise of admiration and a manifest inconvenience, even a denial towards his work. After a first part in which we will identify the main types of paratexts in the writings of Cioran, we will highlight, in the second part, the strongly creative value of some paratexts (titles, subtitles and epigraphs) which function on the level of the writing as materials in germination. We will insist at this level on the relationship between the paratextuality and the intertextuality joined together under the sign of the literary making. The third part relates to the status of the paratexts as operators of identity: identity of the work and of the writer at the same time.
