Résumé :
Contrary to what is generally assumed, agent-phrases introducing a pronoun do exist. Nearly half of the various cases studied concern verbs of mental state. In the other cases, the use of a pronoun derives from a specific need of the utterer, either to get full attention while pretending not to, or to express an oversized ego, or on the contrary to disengage his participation in the event. Disobeying a usual grammatical rule can then be a means to mean more, and thereby to obey very specific and higher purposes.
