Résumé :
Far Away (Caryl Churchill, 2000) is a natural conclusion to a series of plays emphasizing the cyclic, circular approach of her themes and theatrical concerns. Once again the play reasserts the necessity to take urgent steps, to consider the protection of societies on the planet, ill-treated, polluted beyond common understanding, by violence, anarchy and corruption. Once again the hero is a young woman. The play also exemplifies the ultimate stage of a long evolution, introduces new techniques of writing, borrowing from cartoons and video-games.
